The University of East London was established in 1898 as the West Ham Technical Institute. The institution transformed into a university in 1992. Since then, the university has evolved into one of London’s most dynamic and career-focused institutions. With over 28,000 students from 120 countries, UEL London is a vibrant institution welcoming ambitious international students and their ideas. The three University of East London campuses include the waterfront Docklands Campus, the historic Stratford Campus located near Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and the University Square Stratford, designed specifically for adult learners.
